Benjamin Goodger is a filmmaker from London with a passion for gripping genre films with universal themes. He is a graduate of the UK's National Film and Television School (Directing Fiction MA) where he was a David Lean scholar and has made a number of short films that have screened at genre film festivals around the world. YEAR 10 is his debut feature film produced with BK Studios, which he wrote, directed and edited. After securing a sales agent at AFM YEAR 10 was submitted to a few targeted film festivals. It premiered at the Odeon Luxe in Leicester Square as part of London's 2024 Fright Fest. It also screened at Sitges Film Festival and was invited to play out of competition at Trieste Science Fiction Festival before receiving a limited theatrical release in the US through Blue Fox Entertainment as well as streaming, VOD and DVD distribution worldwide including territories Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, India, Latin America, Middle East, Russia and the Baltic States. YEAR 10 was featured in The New York Times as a "Top Sci-fi Pick" for 2025.
